1.1 Finding a Guide

  • Travelers can browse through the profiles of verified local guides on the WooConnects platform.
  • Each profile includes information about the guide’s expertise, languages spoken, and user reviews.

1.2 Booking a Call

  • Once a suitable guide is found, travelers can select an available time slot for a call.
  • Calls can be booked as video calls or audio-only, based on traveler preference.

1.3 Confirmation

  • Travelers will receive an email confirmation of their booking, including the details of the call.
  • A reminder will be sent 24 hours before the scheduled call.

2. Payment and Pricing

2.1 Payment Methods

  • WooConnects accepts various payment methods including credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal.
  • All payments must be made at the time of booking to secure the appointment with the guide.

2.2 Pricing

  • Pricing for each guide’s services is listed on their profile and may vary based on expertise and demand.
  • The total cost will be displayed at checkout before payment is made.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling

3.1 Traveler-Initiated Cancellations

  • Travelers can cancel a booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled call time for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled call will not be eligible for a refund.

3.2 Rescheduling

  • Travelers can reschedule a call up to 12 hours before the scheduled time without any additional charges.
  • Rescheduling requests made within 12 hours of the call may not be accommodated, and the booking may be forfeited.

3.3 Guide-Initiated Cancellations

  • If a guide needs to cancel a booking, travelers will be notified as soon as possible and offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
  • In the rare event that a guide fails to attend a scheduled call without prior notice, travelers will receive a full refund and an additional credit for future use on WooConnects.

4. No-Show Policy

4.1 Traveler No-Show

  • If a traveler fails to join the scheduled call without prior cancellation or rescheduling, the booking will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be issued.

4.2 Guide No-Show

  • If a guide fails to join the scheduled call, travelers will receive a full refund and an additional credit for future use on WooConnects.

5. Refund Policy

5.1 Eligibility

  • Refunds are processed for cancellations made in accordance with the above cancellation policies.
  • In the event of a technical issue that prevents the call from occurring, travelers may be eligible for a full or partial refund based on the circumstances.

5.2 Processing

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.
  • Travelers will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been processed.

6. User Responsibilities

6.1 Accurate Information

  • Travelers must provide accurate contact information at the time of booking.
  • Guides rely on this information to connect with travelers at the scheduled time.

6.2 Respectful Communication

  • Travelers are expected to communicate respectfully with guides.
  • Any form of harassment or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in termination of services without refund.

6.3 Timeliness

  • Travelers should join the call promptly at the scheduled time.
  • Any delays or issues should be communicated to the guide as soon as possible.
